Out of Hours
When the surgery is closed please dial 111.

Home Visits
Patients may need to ask for a home visit if they are genuinely house bound or too ill to visit the surgery. We ask that you aim to contact us before 11am if possible, unless it is an emergency, to enable the GP to plan their rounds for the day. All home visits will be assessed by the GP who will make telephone contact first to discuss access arrangements and visiting times.

Test Results
If you need to ring the surgery for test or x-ray results ordered by the practice, please ring between 2.00 p.m.- 4.00 p.m. on 01643 703289.

Nurse Practitioners

Claire Williams (f)
Catherine Wake (f)
Katie Dymond (f)

Our Nurses are available by appointment for dressings, blood tests, injections and ear-syringing etc. They are also available for HRT, family planning and travel advice. The nurses run the well person clinics and assist with the diabetic and asthma clinics. An important part of their role is health education. They have a range of leaflets available on various health-related topics if you require information.

Healthcare Assistants

Sarah McLaughlin (f)
Ann Sully (f)

Our Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) are trained to take blood samples (phlebotomy), measure blood pressure levels and carry out urine analysis. With further training the role of the HCA will continue to expand. However, a HCA is not a qualified nurse and is therefore unable to give advice on other medical matters. If this is necessary the HCA will ask you to consult with whichever nurse or doctor is most appropriate.
