Noticeboard

Out of Hours
When the surgery is closed please dial 111.

Home Visits
Patients may need to ask for a home visit if they are genuinely house bound or too ill to visit the surgery. We ask that you aim to contact us before 11am if possible, unless it is an emergency, to enable the GP to plan their rounds for the day. All home visits will be assessed by the GP who will make telephone contact first to discuss access arrangements and visiting times.

Test Results
If you need to ring the surgery for test or x-ray results ordered by the practice, please ring between 2.00 p.m.- 4.00 p.m. on 01643 703289.

Travel Information

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to complete a pre-travel vaccination form available from the surgery reception. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting as well as accommodation and activities you plan to undertake to determine what vaccinations are required.  There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below.

It is important to fill in this form, if possible, at least 6 weeks before you travel. The form will be checked by our nurses and you will then receive a telephone call from our administrative team to inform you of any vaccinations the nurse has recommended.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS. Vaccinations that need to be paid for will need to be paid for before your appointment with the nurse is made.

At your appointment the nurse will discuss your travel, advise you of any precautions you should take and administer your vaccinations.  The nurse will then book any further appointments before you travel if you are having a course of vaccinations.
